Description

SOFT STONE

A unique wall panel that is flexible and retains the natural texture and look of stone. Its composition results in a product that is durable, lightweight, fire-resistant, and waterproof.

Soft Stone is flexible and has a recommended flexure of radius >30 cm (Diameter: 60 cm).

APPLICATIONS

An overlay over existing walls, or elevating the space with a zen-like aura in hotel lobbies, restaurants, kitchens, tea houses and public and private bathrooms.

NOTE
- Light weight, convenient transportation and efficient installation;
- Durable; Good flexion (Not <30 cm and SKU dependent, please reach us for advise)
- Avoid using as a layover for flooring
- Avoid folding the product excessively or in half, as it will breach its maximum flexion and result in cracks
- As the product is made of natural stone powder, there will be aesthetic variances in colour
INSTALLATION (SCREED)

a.Apply screed to back of Softstone (Comb outline)
b.Apply even pressure on Softstone when attaching to wall
c.Use joining agent
d.Scrap excess screed/joining agents
e.Clean surface and dust with sponge
f.Complete

IMPORTANT
INSTALLATION

OUTDOORS

Avoid the occurrence of alkali-whitening phenomenon, by using a low alkaline or non-alkaline adhesive, sealant, or marble tile glue.

Once the levelling base is dry, brush a closed primer to avoid cement alkalization

INDOORS

Structural adhesive if used indoors may influence the flatness and needs to be manually levelled

Outdoor installation, in the levelling base dry, brush a closed primer, to prevent cement base alkalization;

IMPORTANT

Use only quality construction adhesives.

Interior walls with plasterboard as surfaces are not ideal for adhering.

Ensure that installation site and Soft Stone are appropriately clean (dust-free).

MAINTENANCE

Avoid acidic or corrosive products when cleaning.

Use a feather duster or damp microfiber cloth for cleaning.

For heavy-duty stains, such as oil stains, grease, etc. We recommend a slightly alkaline general cleaning product.

REPAIR (Soft Stone)

Only use recommended repair agent.

Apply evenly on cracks from top to bottom to ensure a uniform repair surface layer,

Followed with dry towel wiping of excess, do not let the excess repair agent dry up as it will result in an uneven surface
